Truss Form is a specialist trussed rafter designer and manufacturer, and a founder member of the Trussed Rafter Association. The company supplies quality timber trussed rafters often referred to as roof trusses to the building industry and the public. A purpose built factory at Rossendale, Lancashire and a design and production plant in Staffordshire enable the company to supply trussed rafters to the North West of England, Yorkshire, Cheshire, North Wales, the Midlands and the South of the country. Truss Form  offers a two week delivery service as standard.

Computerised designs and drawings are produced in-house to enable the company to provide cost-effective design input. Roof trusses are manufactured by Truss Form in accordance with the requirements of BS EN 14250:2010.

Truss Form are certified by BM TRADA under its Q-Mark scheme to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2008, BS EN 14250 and BS 5268: Part 3 for the manufacture of trussed rafters. In addition, the company holds Professional Indemnity cover.

Specialist in the Industry
Truss Form’s design offices use state-of-the-art ITW Alpine design software to provide cost-effective, computerised in-house designs for a multitude of roof shapes. Only the latest computerised saws are used to ensure work falls within the fine tolerances of BS EN 14250. Roof trusses can be manufactured and supplied with spans up to 16 metres and with or without preservative treatment. Bracing and associated metalwork is also available from Truss Form.

Engineered Timber Joists
In addition to its trussed rafter operation, Truss Form also offers a floor design and supply service to those requiring an engineered timber alternative to standard solid timber joists. Truss Form is an official supplier of Boise engineered wood products, the manfacturer of the highly acclaimed BCI® joist. BCI® joists which are widely used throughout the country by national housebuilders, regional builders and self builders. As with its trussed rafters, Truss Form offers a cost-effective design and supply service on floors, with a two week delivery from receipt of order.

 

Metal Web Joists
Truss Form manufacture the easi-joist® metal web floor joist system. The open web design allows for easy installation of services such as electrical cabling, water pipes and ducting.
